I finally arrived in Târgu Frumos in September. This month was the month when I entered a brand new culture, met many different people, and opened a new page in my life. From the first moment I landed, I was impressed by the helpfulness of the Romanian people. Everyone was very kind and helpful. We had great activities ahead of us and I was very happy to be involved in this project. I had the opportunity to get to know both the Romanian culture and the countries of other volunteers better. I tasted local delicacies. Papanassi dessert became my favorite!

First, I attended other workshops to understand the process and then I started to prepare a workshop for children from different schools. Now I understand better how much I miss spending time with children.

The last week was spent with completely intensive on-arrival training. Accompanied by mentors, we met other volunteers in Romania and had cultural interaction, and we also got answers to all the questions we had. Now I feel that I completely belong to this project.
