As part of the European Solidarity Corps, I had the opportunity to volunteer in Kazanlak, Bulgaria, an experience that became an unforgettable journey for me. Throughout my volunteering project, I participated in various activities and initiatives with YDCM, an organization dedicated to environmental protection, sustainability, and youth development.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this experience was meeting people from different cultures and building lasting friendships. Living, working, and spending time with volunteers from various countries broadened my perspective and allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of different cultures and ways of thinking.
Thanks to the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), I also had the opportunity to explore Europe. During my volunteering journey, I was fortunate to visit Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, France, and Spain. Discovering different countries and experiencing their unique cultures was both an enriching and unforgettable part of my experience.
Living in a foreign country and taking full responsibility for my daily life taught me to become more independent and self-confident. Looking back, I can confidently say that the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) was much more than just a volunteering experience for me. It was a truly special journey filled with meaningful friendships, unforgettable memories, and countless opportunities for personal growth.
