The Citizens of Tomorrow: Europe in Common (CiDEC) project is a 23-month Erasmus Plus KA2 initiative aimed at bringing together formal and non-formal educators working with children aged 7 to 11. The project seeks to develop innovative learning methods in school settings and enhance the value of youth work. Participation in this project is crucial not only for establishing lasting connections in children’s education but also for enabling educators to learn and implement these methods effectively.

The project promotes non-formal education methods to ensure children receive a more inclusive education, thereby increasing their value for teachers and educators. Additionally, it offers various activities to enhance educators’ skills in using digital tools and introducing these tools to children.

The project also aims to foster dialogue among children around Europe’s shared values—peace, cultural diversity, and citizenship—cultivating curiosity and tolerance from an early age.
