The first month of 2026 within the association was mainly focused on office hours and internal organization. This period allowed me to develop greater autonomy and improve my time management skills. Even though the activities were relatively calm, it gave me the opportunity to step back and reflect on my role and on what I truly want to contribute to the association. I was able to better understand how the organization functions and the responsibilities linked to my position. This month played an important role in my personal development and helped me build a solid foundation for a more active involvement in the months to come.

In addition, I had the opportunity to take part in one workshop, which left a strong impression on me. I led an English class for a group of wonderful and kind women, which was a very rewarding human experience. I also participated in an outing with people with disabilities, which was a major highlight of my month. Their kindness, sincerity, and benevolence deeply touched me. This experience allowed me to observe differences in infrastructure accessibility between France and Turkey—not in a negative way, but as a contrast. While many places in France are designed to be accessible, in Turkey accessibility can vary. However, the warmth and generosity of people often make up for the lack of equipment. This experience showed me another side of volunteering, one that I truly appreciated and would like to continue in the future.
