Every story begins here, at airports…
Traveling had been my biggest dream since childhood, and now it was finally becoming a reality. Pİ Gençlik Derneği, an organization that works tirelessly to create opportunities for young people like us, had selected me for a project in Germany. Those distant dreams were turning into reality, all thanks to Pİ.
The day had finally come to meet the team that welcomed me with so much warmth and excitement. The ICJA team was waiting for us at Jugendhof Bessunger Forst.
After a warm introduction and a lovely welcome, the ICJA team introduced us to the seminar that was waiting for us. For nine days, I was filled with excitement as I learned new things and gained valuable experiences through a program called Rooted & Rising.
Each day, we explored different topics prepared especially for the seminar, ranging from climate justice and sustainability to different approaches to nutrition and the way we eat.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful Pİ GENÇLİK family, who gave me this opportunity, supported me throughout my journey, helped me gain new experiences, travel, and build new connections, and enabled me to pursue my dreams as a young person. I am also deeply grateful to them for giving me the opportunity to represent my country and for never taking their support away from me, even for a moment.
Pİ GENÇLİK continues to touch the lives of countless young people!
I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the ICJA team, whose warm welcome and kind hearts made me feel like part of a family. They touched my heart and gave me experiences that I will never forget.
Even from afar, I will always carry them in my heart, and I truly believe that they will continue to touch the lives of many more young people. Until we meet again somewhere, someday.
