Hello! I’m Minal.

When I set off on my journey through Pi Youth Association (PIYA), I already had a feeling that the city of Cádiz, Spain, would become the setting for some of the most beautiful memories of my life. My time volunteering with a local scouting association was much more than just a project—it was a journey of rediscovering my creativity, pushing my limits, and seeing the world through a new perspective.

Throughout this journey, I had the opportunity to combine my identity as an educator with my passion for the arts. One of the most meaningful parts of the experience was reconnecting children with my greatest passion—theatre. Using puppets that I designed myself and performing original puppet shows and theatrical performances, I discovered that smiles can become a universal language, capable of overcoming any language barrier between me and the local community.

At the same time, I worked as an assistant at a local school that collaborated with the organization, supporting educational activities, and volunteered at a local cat shelter, where I helped care for rescued cats. These experiences allowed me to contribute to the community in different ways while learning from the people and places around me.

From learning Spanish to embarking on unforgettable journeys across neighboring countries, every experience added a new perspective to my journey and broadened the way I see the world.

The European Solidarity Corps taught me that with an open mind, a meaningful idea, and a suitcase, it is possible to feel at home anywhere in the world.

I would like to sincerely thank Pi Youth Association (PIYA) for their continuous support, regular follow-up meetings, and guidance throughout this entire experience. My gratitude also goes to everyone who became part of this incredible journey and helped make it one of the most unforgettable chapters of my life.
